French

Tonight is my second Conversational  French class through The Center for Continuing Education at Concordia University, and from the way I reacted to the first class  it looks I’m going to stick it out.  I have classes twice a week for two hours a class, and it seems like it really will force me to speak.   I’m hoping it does, because shyness has been my biggest limiting factor in the past (yes I’ve taken French before).  At any rate things feel different this time, and in the end I plan to keep at it no matter what…

On a side note I found this great Podcast site for learning French:

Learn French by Podcast

I plan to give it a whirl on my mp3  player while I walk to and from work.  The site’s been up and running for a few years, so if you want to start at the beginning then you have to go back to 2006 for their First Lessons.
