A strange post… considering the one it follows, but I’ve decided to re-purpose “tanh.net” and migrate it’s content to “adie.me“:

Months ago I purchased the domain “adie.me“, mostly because I liked the idea of having the email address “m[@]adie[.]me” (Matt Adie .me – cheesy I know but I like it).

I’ve also had the urge to use “tanh.net” for something (I know not what) other than a personal blog. .. and really… that’s what “adie.me” seems made for.

I’ve also decided to give Wordpress a try. I love Drupal but:

It always leads me down a path of complexity, and due to a heavy use of modules I always seem to have a difficult time upgrading.

It’s incredibly versatile, and I highly recommend it as a CMS, but generally speaking it’s overkill for a blog.

It seems to be resource heavy on my shared hosting service’s mysql server

So I’ve migrated my content, and all the posts from “tanh.net” can be found under the category “From Tanh” or within the archives.

I’m still not sure what I’m going to do with “tanh.net“, but hopefully I can come up with something interesting… however, it won’t be long before I take down what’s currently there and leave some sort of link back to here.
